Already Wednesday! I cannot believe the days are going by so fast.

Yesterday was our first full day of work. So far we are still working in our teams to develop a recommendation for Digital Hub. Our team has been researching various advanced technology that could be applied to the company's repertoire, including a Microsoft touch table and a "sixth sense" device that consists of holograms and projections linked to your cell phone. Or something like that. Some of it is a little over my head.

We have an hour break for lunch, where some people go out to the cafes around our building, some eat their lunch at Digital Hub, or head home to our apartments. Our apartments are only about a seven minute walk, so it's nice to be able to go home, save some money, and take some time to relax.

This is my first time really living on my own. Even at school I am used to just having a dorm room and an amazing food plan. Now I'm on my own for all three meals! So far it's been okay, doing a little bit of grocery shopping and buying some pasta, etc. I feel pretty darn grown up.

As wonderful as our apartments are (they really are great, only seven minutes from work and probably seven minutes from the Temple Bar District) right now we are all a little frustrated. Internet is still not working and the other day our hot water decided to peace out. So we feel like we're in the Dark Ages with no means of contacting family except during work and taking millisecond showers to avoid frigid water. Hopefully the management will finally do something.

Who knew is was light so much of the day in Dublin? The sun doesn't set until around 10 PM and comes up at 5 AM (I think, I've never actually been up for that part of the day) It's actually very nice, you really get to enjoy daylight so much more.

We just booked out flights to London! My roommates Jena and Mary-Marshall and I will be heading to the UK next weekend for three nights, staying in a hostel on Queens Street. We're looking into what we want to do while we are there. A few of the guys on our program will also be there that weekend, so hopefully we'll all be hanging out.

That's all folks!
