walk this way

In New York City, jay-walking is an integral part of life. In Oxford, people don't even know there's a name for the crime. In Luxembourg, they actually wait for the little man to turn green before stepping foot on the perilous road. It blows my mind how they all wait so patiently on the sidewalk, as no cars approach. My just don't have that kind of will power and am forced to restrain myself from bolting across the road just to cause a scandal.
